		<description>I work at blockbuster, and I get that waiting in line for 15 minutes is not a piece of pie but we go as fast as we can. If your disc is scratched, return it to the store, we will give you another of the movie for no cost. Line jumpers? What do you expect us to tell them? &quot;The line starts there, sir.&quot; No, that would be considered bad customer service by the upper management, and I don&#039;t wanna lose my job over some impatient person.

I mean Jesus how many people like you that complain have actually worked in retail before? I&#039;m sure MOST of your types have. You KNOW what its like to have to take the yelling and crap and be the scapegoat for the company. I always smile, am polite, and try to be as genuinely considerate as I can, but on the inside I am so freakin pissed off.

Customers want us to be totally sympathetic with their situation, even though they are yelling and cursing at us...ok no problem, I am civilized, I will listen and try my best to resolve your problems. But why don&#039;t you customers return the favor?

 Yelling and complaining shows that YOU have a lack of communication skills. How about some sympathy for us? 

We are pissed at Blockbusters policies sometimes too, ok. But *WE* can&#039;t do anything about it, the headquarters doesn&#039;t care what the store-workers think. You have a problem w/BlockBuster? Get together a big group of people and formally complain to them, the higher-ups would care more than if us employees did it, thats the truth.</description>

		<description>I have read jamie&#039;s concerns and i do have to say that in some cases some is true but you also have to be on the other side of the counter. Me as a customer of blockbuster my local store is just a fun and friendly place. I have walked in on a friday night and it would be very busy and you can see how the employees are having fun with customers and almost every worker makes it a point to know my name.
i have witness inhand how customers treated the employees 
at my local store, throwing movies at the store manager which the customer try to return after 8 months.The store manager tried to explain to him that she was unable to reverse the charges and this made him upset and he throw the movie at her the missed her by an inch to her face. 
what i don&#039;t understand is that we all have bad experiences
in one retail or another but i always like walking into my blockbuster and know that i am welcome there. These employees work hard and are treated like poop!   so wouldn&#039;t you give your local store a break and try being nicer and maybe you we feel like you can be part of something good if your&#039;re not so hung up on you,you,you.</description>

		<description>OMG!!!  you poor man (or woman???) that had to wait in line and got a scratched disc.  Boo hoo hoo!!!  I am one to say that i love going to blockbuster.  I have had some incidents also, but you know what..  they fix whatever dissatisfaction i may have.  I know that if i am going into a video rental store, just like a Walmart, there is a chance to wait in line.  you can&#039;t control it.  People are idiots in a lot of cases, and in some cases people just require special attention on certain things.  Just have patience or do everything online (in which cases you wait longer for your movie).  Other than that, quit your bitching and enjoy life.  make the best out of waiting in line by occupying yourself.  if you are in a hurry, put the movie back and leave instead of bad mouthing the store and employees.  the world is not going to speed up for you!!!!  :)</description>

1# mistake going for new release on a busy period, get it when it is released and you will be the first person to 
a; watch the film 
b; it will not be scratched guaranteed

2# we get our hours to spend for the entire week for so many employees, (my store its 168hours for 7 days) so basically 12hrs a day you need 3 employees, 1 to open the store, 1 to come in at lunch time to relif the morning employee for toilet breaks etc.  and another in at 5ish to replace the morning customer rep so he can go home. 
so thats 7+8+5 (already thats 20hrs) see what i am getting at?  and if we go over the hours provided our district manger(higher than our store manager) wants to know a valid reason why.... 

3# we are all on minium wage, theres supermarkets paying more for less labour... we all know that and we arnt happy about our pay, but the job has varity of tasks at hand that makes it interesting

4# yes we have customers that like to trade items in and its not 1 item that they want to bring it its going to be 50+ items and guess what? its a busy period they dont care, its not like we can turn them away.. we have to accept it and whats more if its say... a ps3 we have to plug it in turn it on and test it! 

5#employees standing around... my store dont do that.  if i can help it i help another employee by either assisting with enquires or helping finding that dreaded disc amongst 10,000 of which brings me to point 6#

6# we have over 10,000 movie/game discs in store, now as a customer do you expect us to check every single disc in-store then complain theres not enough employees at the till point????   i think a screw came loose someplace</description>
