Eddie’s Getting Married!!!
For those of you blizzog readers that know my good friend Ed Yardumian, fellow soldier in the ITR days at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and now shit-kicker extraordinaire for Dell Computers, I’m happy to announce that EZ-E is heading for the alter. I’ll let the Big E explain in his own words, if I may quote from his email today.
We will soon have another Mrs. Yardumian (my mom being the other). Rita and I went to visit Dubai in the United Arab Emirates with some friends a few days ago. Our friends left on Saturday so they could go back to Bangalore to have their kids ready for the start of school on Monday. We planned to stay back a couple more days. On Sunday morning, which is the 2nd anniversary of Rita and I meeting in Taipei, I told Rita we were checking out of our hotel and into the Burj Al Arab for a night (the sailboat hotel) as our anniversary present. I proposed after dinner and while I think she wanted to say “no”, she really liked the ring.
The ring was purchased in Dallas, sent to my Mom in Florida, almost sent to one friend except for an insurance snafu, and then sent another friend in Austin who gave it to one of my India colleagues who was in town, who brought it back. So the route the ring took was symbolic of the journey that led me to Rita.
Thanks for your support and friendship through the years, even as I’ve been far away. We wish hope to be able to celebrate you guys soon.
- Ed
So there you have it. Congratulations, Eddie. This is wonderful news and AG and I wish you and Rita all the happiness in the world. I’m hoping for a big wedding in Taiwan so I can get AG drugged up and on a plane to the Far East!

Congrats EZMF!
Wow! I don’t know that I’ve ever been the subject of such an esteemed blog. I’m honored. It doesn’t seem like that long ago that Jamie and I were putting an A-team stripe on the wall of our office.
